Buying with us

As with any auction there is certain information we need to register you as a buyer. You only have to register once and you will then join our list of trusted customers and be allotted a bidding number (which is yours for life!). To register please complete the 'Register To Bid' form below and we will contact you ASAP with your bidding number. You can also register on the day but please remember to bring a photo ID with your current address on it. We recommend signing up prior to save you time on the day and let you concentrate on treasure hunting!

Once registered you can turn up to our live auction and collect your paddle (which will be waiting for you). When a Lot comes up that takes your fancy pop your paddle in the air making sure the auctioneer sees you and your bid will be placed. We recommend to always look through the catalogue prior and work out your maximum bid (remembering the auction commission of 15% on top) and stick to that. Auctions can be great fun and its easy to get carried away but its important to us that you only spend what you can afford to.

You can leave an absentee bid up to 24 hours before the sale start time, requesting Atlantic Auctions to bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount you have stated. To place an absentee bid/bids you need to have registered below. Your bid/bids need to have been confirmed by Atlantic Auctions to have been placed. You can leave an absentee bid by both phone, email or even WhatsApp. We look forward to hearing from you.   

Its simple. We charge 15% on top of the hammer price to  all our buyers. Sometimes when a particularly valuable piece comes in we will put a custom commission % on it which will be lower than our standard and clearly stated. Remember when bidding to take in to account the 15% on top.

So let's imagine you have found a beautiful table you want. You have bid to £20 and won. Fabulous! The total you will pay will be £23 (£20 + 15%).
